Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam is still following the results of Blackpool.
While he is lapping up life with one of the genuine big guns, Adam will never forget his roots.
That means he is still in constant touch with his old Blackpool buddies now scrapping for Championship promotion while Adam guns for a place in Europe.
He added: "If it wasn't for that club I wouldn't be sitting at this one. Blackpool helped to get my career back on track and that is why I owe them a lot.
"I speak to the lads there every week. Last Friday they were travelling up to Middlesbrough and I met them in Preston. It is great to catch up.
"They were just asking what was going on at Liverpool. We had the game at Chelsea and the last time I was there we lost 4-0, which was a tough afternoon."
