A staggering £130 million is on the line when Liverpool meet Sevilla in the Europa League final.
The Mail on Sunday says Liverpool are on course to lift their first European silverware since 2005 — and the Europa League winners are now assured of a place in the Champions League.
Liverpool would bank an estimated £20m in TV money and prize money for winning the Europa League, plus an additional £10m-£15m from gate receipts and commercial uplifts.
The club secured £1.9m for playing in the group stages, £280,000 for every win and £100,000 for a draw. They collected £400,000 for winning their group and a further £3m for reaching the final after beating Villarreal. A run in the Champions League would open up new cash avenues.
