Liverpool players believe Philippe Coutinho will be sold in January.

That's according to El Mundo Deportivo, which quote a locker room source at Liverpool conceding Coutinho is on borrowed time at Anfield.

Barcelona are expected to make a new offer for the Brazil midfielder in the coming weeks as the winter transfer window looms.

And there is a belief Liverpool will give the deal the green light after Coutinho held up his end of the bargain, helping the club reach the Champions League round of 16. It's claimed Coutinho agreed to play in the group stage on the condition he would be allowed to join Barca in January.

Meanwhile, a Reds player source says: "In the locker room in Liverpool, it is the idea that we will not share the locker room with Coutinho from January."
