Liverpool have confirmed they will play Borussia Dortmund at Anfield in their final pre-season friendly of the summer, reports Sky Sport. The 2013 UEFA Champions League finalists will visit Merseyside on Sunday August 10th.
"It has been over a decade since Borussia Dortmund played at Anfield so we are looking forward to welcoming them back," chief commercial officer Billy Hogan told the club's website.
"This fixture promises an electric atmosphere as both teams get ready for the upcoming season and the possibility of meeting again in the Champions League."
