Liverpool are ready to go all black next season.

The Daily Mail says Liverpool will play their away games in black shirts next season.

The new Adidas kit will have a gold trim and red piping with the club's Carlsberg sponsor emblazoned in gold across the chest.

The design echoes the kit Liverpool used as their third and European away strip last season, as well as the black shirts worn by Manchester United in 2007/08.

A predominantly white shirt will be designed for Liverpool's third strip of the 2009/10 season.
