Liverpool plan fresh bid for Wolves keeper De Vries

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is reviving his interest in Wolves goalkeeper Dorus de Vries.

The Sunday Mirror says Rodgers saw two summer bids turned down for the out-of-favour Wolves goalkeeper in the summer.

But 31-year-old De Vries' bust-up with Wolves manager Stale Solbakken will now edge him closer to the exit door.

Rodgers sees De Vries, who formed a close friendship during their stints together at Swansea, as serious competition for Pepe Reina.
