Liverpool could launch a deadline day move for AS Roma defender Emerson Palmieri, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.

The Brazil-born left-back is reportedly of interest to Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, and the German is said to planning a late move for the 23-year-old.

Klopp has signed Andrew Robertson from Hull in the left-back position, but the report claims that Klopp wants to sign an experienced player in the position.

Emerson impressed for Roma last season and made 25 league appearances.
