Liverpool pinch Mavinga from under Arsenal's noses

Liverpool have beaten Arsenal to the signature of promising French left-back Chris Mavinga, claims the Liverpool Echo.

The France under-18 international has been snapped up from Paris Saint Germain and The Reds will have to pay PSG a compensation fee for the 18-year-old who was yet to sign a full contract with the French club.

*****, dont ever compare Arsenal with any other club in terms of shaping youngsters into very good footballers. Comeon. How come you pool guys can say that. This time Arsenal have won the youth cup. You forgot the humuliation you pool guys have got from Gunners this time. come on guys be real to your heart and think and say which club is best in nurturing youngsters. Even in dream everyone is say this. Be clear in your facts.

Liverpool's academy was a shambles until Rafa totally overhauled it. Only now are players starting to come through with 3 or 4 making their full debut last season and hopefully the same again to come through in the coming season. Look out for Spearing in centre mid, the new Steve G, and everyone is hoping the coming season will see Nemeth come through up front, that lad could be something very special.
