Liverpool pair Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are going head-to-head for the CAF African Player of the Year award.
The initial shortlist announced in November had 11 names but the shortlist has been cut to just three with the Liverpool duo nominated alongside Borussia Dortmund's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Leicester's Riyad Mahrez won the award in 2016 but missed out on the original list of nominees.
Earlier this month, Salah was named BBC African Footballer of the Year.
The Egyptian has enjoyed a stunning debut season at Liverpool with 20 goals in all competitions.
