Liverpool owners target Inter Milan boss Mourinho
Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Thu, 10/22/2009 - 11:53
Liverpool's American owners are eyeing a move for Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho.
Gazzetta dello Sport says Mourinho is the favoured option for Reds co-owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett should they decide to dismiss Benitez.
It's claimed should Liverpool lose to Manchester United on Sunday at Anfield, Benitez will be replaced by Kenny Dalglish in a caretaker capacity.
The Liverpool legend will remain in control until January when a bid for Mourinho will be launched during the Serie A winter break.

While Fergie is there we won't get back to the top will we? Anon, Anon you really are a prize PRAT aren't you mate? (Either that or really you're afraid of us taking a leaf out of Fergie's book and making the United game EVERYTHING to us as he does v Liverpool, winning it and then going on a season reviving run at YOUR expense as well as finally ridding ourselves of the owners and being able to compete with you on EQUAL financial terms - the one thing Rafa's NEVER had yet)
Don't you know your history anyway? Your sad excuse for a wannabe club who are forever in our shadow, no matter WHAT they did just could NOT stop us for SEVEN years AFTER hiring Fergie could they? And even WITH the drunken Taggart alike in charge, HE couldn't stop the likes of George Graham, Howard Wilkinson, Arsene Wenger, Daglish himself AND Mourinho ALL taking titles off him, even WITH all the power he'd hoarded at Man U and Rafa's a better manager than any of them - Any way, I'd shut up if I were you as our last two fixtures against you, your stats read scored 2, conceded 6 lost 2 won 0 in OUR favour AND we were apparently also in disarray just after a dismal loss to Middlesbrough when we played you at YOUR dump in March, what happened next?
Take a Bonus point if you remember that we had no Alonso in that game either before you say the loss of Alonso will mean a loss for us come Sunday. Also, look at ALL Rafa's MUST win games since he came to Liverpool, Olympiakos, Chelsea (countless times), Your mob last season, Marseille the year before, Juventus, AC Milan, West Ham (FA Final) etc - What happened that they all have in common? Oh yes, Rafa FOUND a way to win, just as he will come Sunday afternoon, mark my words.............................
si vaffonculo mourinho , i didn't know any one would want him, he's a real joke. You can have him for one of those funny 20p's, I'll have mancini back. Forza nerazzuri, forza balotelli forza santon. I only buy this cazzo cos i wanna win campione liga and so far he no win ANY GAME. TAKE HIM PER PIACE
