Liverpool are keeping tabs on Paulo Dybala's contract talks with Palermo.
The Argentine striker is rated among the best young forwards on the continent and Reds boss Brendan Rodgers would love to bring him to England.
Dybala's current deal expires in 2016 and TMW says Liverpool's owners, FSG, would be happy to wait until NEXT January before signing the striker to a pre-contract Bosman deal.
However, Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini is this week in talks with Dybala's camp about a new agreement, with the view to selling him for premium price this summer.
The two parties broke up yesterday after a fresh round of negotiations positive of reaching a new deal to 2018.
If Dybala puts pen to paper, Zamparini intends to sell the striker at the end of this season.
