Liverpool open talks with Real Madrid keeper Navas

Liverpool are in talks with Real Madrid reserve goalkeeper Keylor Navas.

Navas moved to Real in the summer from Levante, but has found himself stuck on the bench behind club captain Iker Casillas.

The Daily Star Sunday says Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is reportedly a big admirer of the Costa Rican international and is preparing a summer bid for the Costa Rican.

His agent, Ricardo Cabanas, has revealed his client wants to leave the Bernabeu.

He said: "Keylor Navas has told Real Madrid that wants to leave."
