Liverpool have held talks with RB Leipzig about bringing Naby Keita to England this month.
The Reds have agreed a £57m deal with the Bundesliga club to sign the Guinea midfielder in the summer.
But after Philippe Coutinho's £142m move to Barcelona earlier this week, Kop boss Jurgen Klopp wants to get Keita in immediately, says the Daily Star.
Liverpool hierarchy have approached Leipzig about securing a deal that could get the player to Merseyside this month.
They are aware they will need to offer the German side more money – and they are willing to do so.
