Liverpool have made an approach to Lazio for goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha.

Sportitalia says Liverpool have moved for Strakosha this week.

Strakosha is only 23 years old, but is the son of legendary Albania international Foto Strakosha.

He already has 59 Serie A appearances under his belt, keeping 17 clean sheets, and came up through Lazio's youth academy.

The asking price for Strakosha is believed to be in the region of €40m, as the Aquile and their President Claudio Lotito drive a hard bargain.
