Liverpool officials fly to China to sort deal for AC Milan loanee Balotelli

Liverpool are trying to offload Mario Balotelli to China according to recent reports.

Liverpool officials have reportedly flown to the Far East to sort out a deal for the much-maligned Italian striker who is currently on loan at AC Milan according to The Times.

Balotelli, 25, massively underperformed for the Reds last season and was sent back to Italy in the summer but has also struggled with the Rossoneri, indicating that his future may lie away from Europe.

It is believed that the Reds are determined to find a buyer for the wasted talent and feel the cashed up Chinese Super League could be a good place to make some money back on the £16million they invested in August 2014.

The sojourn to Asia is mainly to find a naming rights sponsor for the new main stand at Anfield but Balotelli's future will also be discussed with any willing clubs.
