Liverpool to offer Riera in bid for Villarreal striker Rossi
Liverpool are ready to set up a swap deal for Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi.
Rossi's agent confirmed interest from Liverpool last week in the former Manchester United forward.
The Italian has declared he intends to leave Villarreal this summer and Reds boss Rafa Benitez is keen to set up a swap involving outspoken winger Albert Riera.
Villarreal are keen on the deal, with Riera viewed as an ideal replacement for departing French veteran Robert Pires.

Not another Italian please! Best move will be Fernando Llorente to Liverpool and Albert Riera to Athletic Bilbao! Two Fernando up front next season with Torres 9 and Llorente 10
Rossi will do well to stay in la liga, his forte,rather dan join tha loserfools who r makin a mess of everythin thanks to their buffoon-ish coach...
5m+reira will be ok i guess... next is selling krygiakos-2m, degen-2m, itange-1m, lucas-6m, babel-9m, benayoun(if he wants to go)-8m, el zahr-2m... total income would be 30m... plus a supposed 20m from owners that would be 50m... players in: rossi-5m(+reira), wilson-3m, jovanovic-free, shelvey-1.7m, silva-20m, srna-7m, joe cole-free, hernanes-10m
