Liverpool have sounded out Arsenal about taking Pepe Reina next season.

The Daily Mail says the belief is that Liverpool may subsidise Reina's departure to help him reach agreement with a new club over his salary.

Arsenal have been contacted although they have also spoken to Cardiff City about David Marshall among several other keeper targets.
