Gael Clichy has been offered a two-year deal to sign with Liverpool, according to The Sun.

The French left-back will be able to move to Merseyside on a free transfer after being released by Manchester City at the end of the season.

Liverpool is in desperate need of a left-back, having had midfielder James Milner play over Alberto Moreno for the majority of the campaign.

Clichy is also reportedly a target for Paris Saint Germain.
