Liverpool No2 Colin Pascoe insists the disruption of international week can work in their favour.
While some people might consider the break to have come at a bad time for Liverpool after the way they have started the season, Pascoe feels it does have its advantages.
He told Liverpoolfc.com: "You want the rhythm to keep flowing because we've made a good start, but it gives the opportunity for people like Joe Allen and Kolo Toure - who have been out injured - to be back in time for the next game.
"We just keep our fingers crossed we don't pick up any injuries and we'll also look out for how many minutes the lads play for as well."
