Liverpool management have no doubts about Jamie Carragher's fitness.

Questions have been raised about Carragher, 35, being able to play two games in a week but assistant manager Colin Pascoe answered them emphatically.

He said: "Yeah, of course he can. He's a fit guy and he loves his football.

"If there are two games a week he's more than capable of playing like he did at Arsenal. Jamie and Stevie Gerrard. The two of them are phenomenal."
