Liverpool assistant manager Steve Clarke feels Fernando Torres has been performing well for Chelsea.
Torres will face his old club today at Stamford Bridge.
"With Fernando his record speaks for itself, he is a top goalscorer and a really good player," Clarke told Chelsea TV. "At Chelsea it hasn't quite worked out maybe the way he would have hoped but if you watch the games, his contribution is there to see.
"When you play the top games against the top sides, they have got players who are dangerous all over the pitch and to single out one player would be silly.
"Chelsea over recent years have been one of the most consistent teams. It has been Chelsea or Man United champions for a number of years now and obviously going to Stamford Bridge is a big test for Liverpool."
