Naby Keita has been left 'home alone' at RB Leipzig over Christmas.

While his teammates broke up for the winter and Christmas break, Keita has stayed behind - on his own - to do extra training.

Keita, who has signed with Liverpool, has posted to social media images of himself inside the RBL locker room ahead of working in the gym.

The midfielder was due to travel home to Guinea, but instead canceled the trip to focus on his fitness.

BILD raised the prospect of Keita getting himself ready for January change to Liverpool, though Reds boss Jurgen Klopp poured cold water on the idea last week.

"RB Leipzig does not have to sell a player, so why should you let him go prematurely? That's not an issue for us," he said.
