Ghana defender Daniel Amartey is attracting interest from Liverpool.
The 18-year-old, currently of Swedish side Djurgarden IF, is attracting huge interest across Europe after a number of commanding performances in the Allsvenskan this season.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers added Aly Cissokho, Mamadou Sakho, Kolo Toure and Tiago Ilori to his defensive options during the summer, however the form of Amartey has caught his attention, says the Daily Star.
However, he will have to wait for Manchester City to make a decision on Amartey to land the youngster.
City enjoy a formal partnership with Djurgarden.
"I do not comment on individual clubs' interest, but the player in question is one of Allsvenskan's talents and is only 18 years old," Djurgarden chief scout Khaled El-Ahmad told fotbollskanalen.se.
