Liverpool must be 'dirty' in front of goal - Lovren

Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren has said that his side need to be more clinical in front of goal following their 0-0 draw against Manchester United on Saturday.

Jose Mourinho's men looked as if they came into the game playing for a draw and in the end Liverpool were the better side though they failed to convert their chances.

United keeper David De Gea did however pull off a stunning save to deny Joel Matip what would have been a winner during the first half.

"We show every game we are better and better and we are really confident within the team," he told the club's website.

"Hopefully we can keep this momentum and find the net."We need just to stay hungry and keep focused on our own work. We just need to be a little more cruel in front of goal.

"Big teams don't need many chances - from one chance they can score a goal so we need to be a bit more 'dirty' in front of goal."
