A move to Manchester City is no done deal for Crewe Alexandra teen Dan Smith.
The Daily Mail says Liverpool want to take Crewe's Smith, 16, from under the nose of Manchester City.
City boss Roberto Mancini had agreed a £300,000 fee for the midfielder.
