Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is chasing 35 year-old French goalkeeper Ulrich Rame.
The Daily Mail says Benitez is believed to have offered the long-serving Bordeaux No 1 a two-year contract and is ready to include current reserve Charles Itandje in a swap deal.
