Liverpool are keeping tabs on Toni Kroos' situation at Real Madrid.

The Daily Express says Liverpool are interested in signing Real Madrid star Kroos.

Kroos only joined the Spanish giants last summer but he could reportedly leave before the transfer window slams shut on September 1.

The Germany international is said to be ready to quit the Bernabeu and Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is hunting a new central midfielder.

However, Paris St-Germain are reportedly in pole position to sign him.
