Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen has held talks with Borussia Monchengladbach according to reports.

The Daily Star suggests that the 21-year old Danish defender is searching for regular football after only breaking into Jose Mourinho's senior side on the final day of the Premier League season.

According to The Sun on Sunday, negotiations have begun between Christensen's representatives and Bundesliga club Monchengladbach who were originally interested in a loan deal.

The report also claims that Liverpool is plotting a £3million opening offer for Christensen who joined Chelsea from Brondby in 2012.
