Liverpool ace Xherdan Shaqiri enjoyed a swipe at Manchester United legend Gary Neville after Sunday's victory.

Shaqiri came off the bench to score twice for the 3-1 win and earn the man of the match award.

In the post-match interview, Reds legend Jamie Carragher said: "Well you made a big impact and I'm going to pass you the man of the match award. Gary Neville was going to come down but he didn't want to face you, you see?"

Carragher was referring to Neville's criticism of Shaqiri when he was first signed from Stoke City.

Shaqiri reacted to Carragher's comment on Sky Sports by bursting out laughing before adding: "Tell Gary I said hello."
