Liverpool midfielder Jay Spearing says the players are ready to face Roy Hodgson's West Bromwich Albion this weekend.
Hodgson was replaced by Kenny Dalglish as Reds manager in January.
Spearing told liverpoolfc.tv: "It's going to be a difficult game but we know we can match anyone and beat anyone.
"Roy is a great manager and a great person. He gave me a lot of games in the Europa League and I've got a lot to thank him for.
"His time didn't work out as well as he planned but hopefully it works out for him at West Brom, but not obviously on Saturday!"
