Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey is in line for a senior England call.

The Daily Mail says Roy Hodgson is set to call Liverpool midfielder Shelvey into his England squad ahead of Friday night's World Cup qualifier against San Marino.

Frank Lampard remains a doubt for the clash at Wembley after suffering a knee injury on Saturday and Shelvey will be called in case the Chelsea midfielder is not passed fit.
