England U19 captain Jonjo Shelvey hopes to be involved for Liverpool tomorrow against Chelsea.
The midfielder earned a first start in their Europa League win over Napoli on Thursday.
Having been on the bench in the last two Barclays Premier League outings, Shelvey is hoping Roy Hodgson might consider him for a place in his squad when reigning Champions Chelsea come to town on Sunday.
He told liverpoolfc.tv: "That would be amazing just to be in the squad against Chelsea, but I've just to keep working hard and show what I can do.
"I would play anywhere for this team, even left-back if I was asked to.
"We feel we are getting stronger and hopefully we can keep the good run going against Chelsea and get even better."
