Swansea City are going hed-to-head with West Ham Unuted for Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey.

The Daily Express says Shelvey was waiting to see if interest materialised from West Ham before calling time on his Liverpool career, but he could join Swansea instead after Michael Laudrup registered his interest in the 21-year-old.

Both Norwich and Stoke have been linked with Shelvey in recent months, who is set to be allowed to leave the Reds for around £5million.
