Christian Poulsen has revealed how a chat with Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish left him full of new confidence.
By his own admission the Danish midfielder endured a tough start to life at Anfield but is now enjoying a new lease of life under the current regime.
"After the new manager came in I had a short meeting with him," Poulsen told liverpoolfc.tv. "I asked whether I was staying.
"He said he wanted to use all the players and if I performed in training he would use me.
"He has shown he is ready to use all the players, so if I do what he asks, hopefully I will play more often."
