Raul Meireles admits it's a dream come true playing with Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard.

The former Porto star has been a big admirer of Gerrard's.

He told liverpoolfc.tv: "It's like a dream for me because I've always admired Stevie and now I'm playing alongside him for Liverpool.

"I am learning from one of the best players in the world and he is a special player for this club."
