Liverpool attacking midfielder Luis Alberto is on the verge of sealing a move to Sevilla, according to reports from Spain.
Alberto joined Liverpool from Sevilla during the summer of 2013 for a fee believed to be in the region of around £6.8million but the Spaniard has flopped during his time at Anfield.
Nonetheless, the 23-year-old has managed to revive his career following an impressive loan spell at Deportivo La Coruna last season and according to El Correo, he is now on the verge of sealing a move back to Sevilla in a £7m deal.
It is understood that the deal is set to be complete early next week which will see Alberto, who does not feature in Jurgen Klopp's plans, return to the Andalusian club three years after departing for Merseyside.
