Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen is undergoing a medical at Stoke City.

The Liverpool Echo says Allen is set to undergo a medical at Stoke today ahead of completing a £13million move.

The Wales international agreed personal terms with the Potters over the weekend after Mark Hughes convinced him to move to the Britannia Stadium.

Swansea failed to match Stoke's bid having had an offer of £8million rejected earlier in the window.

It marks the end of Allen's four-year stay with Liverpool which saw him score seven goals in 132 appearances.
