Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has paid tribute to former club Coventry City.
Henderson, 24, came through the ranks at his hometown club Sunderland and spent four months on loan in the Midlands before he broke a bone in his foot.
He said: "I was playing every week for a good club. They were doing very well in the Championship and I loved every minute of it.
"I felt it helped me progress as a player.
"I've been given extra responsibility at my club and now with England, too.
"I'm getting older and I need to try and help the younger lads who are coming through."
