Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani is desperate to stay with Juventus.
The midfielder arrived on loan last summer, but Juve have publicly refused to buy him outright for the agreed £16m buy-out clause.
"I don't know when the clubs will meet or discuss the matter," agent Franco Zavaglia told Calciomercato.it.
"We are certainly waiting to hear how the situation develops and hope they can reach an agreement.
"As far as Alberto is concerned, he has always been clear: he wants to stay in Italy. We are waiting to hear if a deal will be reached and that would be a huge bonus for us."
There have been reports that Aquilani could stay in Serie A anyway, as AC Milan have shown an interest in signing him.
"No, these are just rumours. Nobody from the Rossoneri has called me."
