Liverpool manager Klopp doesn't approve of 'Fab Four' moniker

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says he doesn't like the name given to his flying attacking quartet.

'The Fab Four', as they've been dubbed, have helped the Reds score 38 goals in the Premier League and 23 in the Champions League group stage.

One of the members, Mohamad Salah, scored his 20th goal across all competitions in Liverpool's 4-0 win over Bournemouth on Sunday.

And although Klopp was happy for the Egyptian, he insists there is more to his team than Salah, Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.

Klopp said: "He knows how much I respect and like him, but it's not about the 'Fab Four' – I don't like that name as well. I don't go home and think 'my God, what a player Mo Salah is, how good is he and all the others?' That's not how it works.

"He is a very important player for us, like the others, but obviously for him it's easier in the moment to finish the situations than the other players, and hopefully it stays like this for Mo, for example.

"Sadio, Oxlade, have big potential in this. Adam Lallana is back, so we need to bring altogether that we can play intensive football.

"Not because we want to play intensive football, only because the period is so intense that you have to cope with it, we have to deal with the situation.

"For that we need all the players and I am happy that today we got, even more importantly, the three points as well."
