Liverpool management are delighted with the progress of England youth striker Michael Ngoo.
Liverpool trumped Manchester United for the former Southend United junior last season.
Reds coach John McMahon told liverpoolfc.tv: "Michael did really well and he brings a lot of good attributes into the side.
"He's still got a lot to do but he's got a great way about him.
"He works hard, wants to do well and fingers crossed for Michael if he keeps progressing well he will play a lot of games for the reserve team this season."
