Liverpool management frustrated over lack of consistent form

Liverpool No2 Sammy Lee admits management are frustrated over the lack of consistency from their players.

Lee admits his frustration in trying to explain how Liverpool played so well against Chelsea only to then let their standards slip against Wigan and Stoke.

"I can understand the euphoria after our win over Chelsea but we have always said that we take nothing for granted," Lee told Liverpoolfc.tv.

"Every game is difficult in this league and we have got to take each one as it comes. We got a great result against Chelsea and then followed it up with two indifferent results.

"We are all asking that question about consistency, none more so the players. These players want to improve, get better and be more consistent.

"It's everybody, not just myself; Roy and Mike Kelly. We are all in it together and are all trying to find how we can get back to a more consistent vein of form.

"Even after the win against Chelsea we were still complaining and analysing things that we need to improve on.

"I can promise everyone that we are still working hard and trying to put things right.

"Stoke were aggressive and physical against us and we should have resisted it. Unfortunately we didn't do enough of that but we've got to forget about that now."
