Liverpool reserves coach John McMahon says management are delighted with the progress of three of their young England players.
Jonjo Shelvey is quickly progressing through the ranks since is summer arrival from Charlton Athletic.
McMahon told liverpoolfc.tv: ""t is good to have Jonjo with us. I watched him captain England U19s the other week and he scored a free-kick. He is a good young player and we also had Andre Wisdom and Michael Ngoo in that team and the three of them were exceptional.
"Jonjo is a good lad who has fitted in well here. He wants to work hard and wants to do things right and is always prepared to give it 100 per cent."
