Liverpool, Man Utd target Hummels slams ‘sh***y’ Dortmund statement

Mats Hummels has slammed current club Borussia Dortmund for a recent statement they released regarding his future.

According to the Bundesliga outfit, the German centre-back has asked to leave the Westfalenstadion this summer in order to join rivals Bayern Munich.

Dortmund said that Hummels had 'communicated his desire to leave the club in the summer' and that the club 'has subsequently decided to make such a change depending on whether Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund can agree a satisfactory fee'.

However, Hummels has hit back at the Schwarzgelben by making it clear that his future had not yet been settled.

"This sh***y statement has made a misleading expression. I have no idea why they had to do it," said Hummels.

"Everything is possible and nothing is decided yet."

The 27-year-old remains a target for both Liverpool and Manchester United.
