The transfer deadline fell yesterday with Zakaria Bakkali still a PSV Eindhoven player.
The volatile Belgian teen was a target for the likes of Liverpool, Everton, Manchester United and Tottenham after a contract blow-up with PSV management.
But despite fielding enquiries from across Europe - and being demoted to the club's B squad - Bakkali remains on PSV's books.
The winger is inside the final year of his current deal and can commit to a pre-contract with a foreign club from January 1.
Bakkali, when leaving Ajax as a 16 year-old, rejected a superior offer from Manchester City to sign for PSV.
