Liverpool, Man Utd rival Everton for Sunderland keeper Jordan Pickford

Liverpool are rivaling Everton for Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

The Telegraph says Everton, which are willing to pay £17 million for the keeper, face stiff competition ahead of the summer market.

Liverpool have joined in the pursuit, along with Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal and West Ham United.

The Reds snapped up Loris Karius from Mainz last summer but after an unconvincing start to his Premier League career he was dropped in favour of previous number one Simon Mignolet.

City's Claudio Bravo also failed to impress after joining City from Barcelona while United could be on the look out if they lose David De Gea to Real Madrid.
