Premier League giants are watching Augsburg left back Philipp Max.

The Daily Mail says Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham have checked on Max.

The 24-year-old won a silver medal as part of Germany's 2016 Olympic squad and has been impressing scouts with his high level performances in the Bundesliga this season.

Max has been touted for a place in Germany's World Cup squad owing to his consistency and increasing number of assists as Augsburg make their best start to a Bundesliga season.

Max extended his contract this year until 2022 and his value is escalating with increasing interest.
