Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has informed Alex Song he's not in his new season plans.El Mundo Deportivo says Barca coach Enrique met with Song and Ibrahim Afellay this week to inform them he won't be considering the pair for his first team squad.
Former Arsenal midfielder Song has talked up the prospect of returning to the Premier League and has been linked with Liverpool and Manchester United.
"If I leave Barcelona, it will be to return to the Premier League," he said in May.
"I will return to England one day, that's for sure."
