Manchester City and Liverpool will NOT take their England stars with them on their post-season tours.
They will leave their World Cup players out of summer friendlies following a plea from Hodgson.
Liverpool always planned to leave their internationals out against Shamrock Rovers and City have confirmed that Joe Hart and James Milner will not go on their trip to Abu Dhabi.
