Liverpool have made an offer for Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila.
French sources say Liverpool have tabled a £9 million bid for the 20 year-old defensive midfielder. But Rennes have not yet responded to the offer.
AC Milan are also interested and have been informed by intermediaries of Liverpool's offer.
Rennes are determined to get the most for their money and will hold out for at least £13 million for the France international.
M'Vila is also followed by Olympique Marseille and Lyon.
